A GRADE
Zenda McConnell played her 250th game last week and worked tirelessly all game. Mounts put up a good fight during the first half and the Hillies had to work hard for possession and each goal. Shannon, Dan and Hollie maintained pressure on their opponents all game. The attacking end and mid-courters made many strong leads and also provided defensive pressure when a turn-over occurred. The Hillies showed their determined nature and fought hard in the second half to pull away for another convincing win.

A RESERVE
It started off as a fast paced game with lots of determination to win the game against Mount Pleasant for the A Reserve team. Sharp shooting from all four goalies led to high scoring in the first quarter by both sides. The Hillies defenders worked well together resulting in some good turn over’s in the second half. The mid court were speedy and accurate feeding the ball into the ring maximizing goal opportunities for the team. The A reserve team resulted in a good win against the Mount Pleasant side.

B GRADE
B Grade knew that playing Mounts would be a tough one. It was to be one of those games where the both teams would have to keep working hard until one would get the break. The play all over the court was strong, with fast leads and great defensive pressure at both ends. After a blistering first half the girls came off feeling enthused and ready to get back out there. A few combination changes in the 3rd and 4th quarters kept the girls on their toes but were sure to keep the game in their favor, coming away with the win. This will give the B graders the confidence and composure they need coming into finals time.

C GRADE
Another game, another tough and close result for our C graders and yet another heart attack for the coach! It was a very tight and hard fought match from start to finish. A strong and exciting finish from the Hillies girls who capitalized on the mounts mistakes. A fantastic effort by all 8 girls involved!

Good game by all the girls against a much smaller opposition, but it gave us a chance to try out some different combinations. Good work girls. Keep working hard and we’ll be ready for finals!

PRIMARY
It is a great pleasure to see the girls enjoying themselves with their netball on a Saturday morning. This week against Mt Pleasant, Macca did a great job in goals, positioning herself well and leading into the goal ring. At the other end of the court, Isabelle did a great job in defence, staying in front of her player and keeping her eyes up, on the look out for the ball. Great Work to the whole team!
