This Saturday sees our seniors and reserves return to action after a week off, while our under 18s will be looking to bounce back in the battle for top spot. All games are against East Coast Eagles at Bruce Purser Oval.
The Program
10:00am – Under 18s Premier Cup v East Coast
12:00pm – First Division v East Coast
2:10pm – Premier Division v East Coast
The Venue
Bruce Purser Oval is a new ground in its second year of existence, and is on the corner of Withers Rd and Commercial Rd at Rouse Hill. Sydney Swans and Western Bulldogs supporters will remember the venue as the host of a trial game before the 2009 season.
To get there, take the M2, and take the exit where the M7 starts. From the exit, turn right into Old Windsor Rd. After a few kilometres, this merges with Windsor Rd. Continue straight ahead for another kilometre, and on the right will be the massive new Rouse Hill shopping centre. Continue past Rouse Hill shops, getting in the right lane after White Hart Drive.
Turn right at the next corner, at Commercial Rd. The Mean Fiddler Hotel is on the corner. The light towers will be visible from there – continue along Commercial Rd to the next major corner, turn right and the entrance to the oval is on the right hand side.

Our Opponents
East Coast Eagles are a strong team, and won the grand final last season. Like North Shore, this season has been a roller-coaster ride for the Eagles. When the two sides met at Gore Hill earlier in the season it was a closely-fought contest in which the Eagles just fell over the line. With third place and the double-chance up for grabs, a close contest is in prospect this time.
The Eagles’ First Division side are currently outside the top 5 and they will be desperate for a win to keep their chances alive. But our First Division team is the strongest it has been for several years, and this also shapes as an enthralling contest.
With the Under 18s loss last weekend, the Eagles moved into top spot on the ladder; and our young Bombers will be keen for a win here to regain their grip on top of the ladder.
Online Coverage
Scores from all three games will be posted on this website, with detailed scorecards and photo galleries to be uploaded later in the weekend.
