CONGRATULATIONS - D.A - 500 Games for North Brunswick FC
Saturday the 17th of July is sure to be a very special day for the North Brunswick Football Club - as Darren "D.A" Adams plays his 500th match for the club.
D.A has been a constant figure at the North Brunswick footy club for over 30 years - as has his parents - Paul and Brenda Adams, in their various roles at the Club.
Starting out as a Junior, Darren has grown up at our Footy club, won a reserves best and fairest in 1991, became a Senior player for many, many years and made the 1996-2005 Team of the Decade in the back pocket at our 40 Year Anniversary Ball in 2006. Darren is also a life member of the football club.
These days, D.A continues to ply his trade as a reliable defender and always ruthless competitor, thriving on one-on-one contests, regularly playing on bigger opponents and still showing off his excellent foot skills running the ball out of defence.
With his wife, Nicole, and their 3 children Tennile, Jake and Ben cheering on - D.A becomes the 2nd man to play 500 games for North Brunswick (behind games record holder Peter Dowsett 535 games) in what is an amazing achievement - and testament not only to his durability - but to his loyalty and passion for the North Brunswick Football Club.
D.A embodies what it is to be a North Brunswick person. His actions sum up the culture of the club with his humility, durability, toughness, team focus, fairness and bravery - setting the example for everyone at the club to follow.
We hope to see many of our supporters and former players down to Allard Park, this Saturday from 11:30am to watch D.A and the team against Mt.Lilydale - and celebrate this huge occasion.
Congratulations D.A.
