This weekend the Seniors take on Melbourne High School OB. It is a cliche but it is another "must win" game. With the season so tight, we need to keep getting the four points and this week is no different. We should be aiming for the double chance and the opportunity to ensure we play finals football.
One of the club's favourites plays his 100th game this weekend. Laz Siapantas joined the club in 2003 and quickly established himself as a quality player.Mercurial on his left foot, Laz possesses those skills of which so many of us are (were) envious. A member of the 2006 Premiership side, he certainly knew where the goals were. More recently he has found himself on the wing, which is a testament to his durability, despite numerous niggling injuries over the years. Congratulations Laz on playing your 100th game this weekend.
There will be one new face this weekend with Jackson Coleman playing his first game for the club. Justin is a talented cricketer (Aust U/19 World Cup Player) but has decided to have a crack at football. Good luck Jackson!
The Reserves will be up against the side they beat earlier in the year so let's bring on another win for the boys.
The U/19s play Old Brighton and may just cause an upset.

OHA Trivia Night – Saturday 31st July
The Old Haileyburians Association will be conducting our 2nd annual Trivia Night titled “The Battle of Haileybury” on Saturday 31 July in Dickinson Hall at Castlefield.
The night is hosted by Old Haileyburian and media personality, Jeremy Kewley and is a tremendous amount of fun. All funds raised from the night are directed back into OHA Clubs and Community groups. For example, first place will take home 50% of the total funds raised on the night. In 2009, the OHA Hockey Club won the evening and were presented with a cheque for just under $1000 – valuable funds for any organisation. Cash prizes are allocated all the way down to 5th place as well as other prizes on the night for best dressed table and the variety of fun games that are played.
It would be brilliant to see as many year groups * as possible attend the night. Already a number of Haileybury Community groups have confirmed their tables for this year. Tables of 10 can be booked with the entry fee per person of $15 payable on the night. All of the details here .
Please contact me if you wish to book a table or if you have any queries.
*Year groups booking tables will be required to nominate an OHA Club or Community Group that they wish to allocate the money to. Individual year groups may not claim cash prizes, however are most welcome to participate.
