The Swans fought hard while the backline stood firm as the Swans tried to contain a rampant Ballina midfield. Waisted opportunities by both sides in the first saw the Swans take out a 1 point lead at the first break. The Bombers took control in the second term and extended there lead to 15 points at the main break.
The Swans picked up there game in the thirds with plenty of attacking moves to kick the first 3 goals of the term and hit the front however the Bombers were able to kick a couple of late goals against the momentum to take out a 12 point lead into the final break.
The intensity lifted in the final term with some more big knocks however a couple of good moves up forward assisted Ballina to take out a 26 point lead. The Swans struggled with a number of key players out of the side however fought hard to stay with a strong Ballina outfit.

Goals were 2 each to Roly Barrett and Ethan Lenson, while singles were kicked by George Massa, Darren Moncrieff, Michael Brown and Brad Delaney
