A GRADE
Colbo came out with all guns blazing & after a quick change of court, went into the first break with a 3 goal lead. The Hillies girls weren’t about to lie down & lifted their work ethic to create turnovers & even the scores at half time. To Colbo’s credit & their never give up attitude, they fought back to even the scores, but Hillies managed a few late goals & take out the game by 5.

A RESERVE
The girls had a close first half, holding the lead at half time by only a goal. The ball began to flow quickly and fluently in the third quarter which enabled Hillies to go into three quarter time with a handy lead, with the last quarter being another tightly contested quarter. It was great to see the girls implementing lots of strategies and skills from training throughout the game.

B GRADE
Well done to all the girls we had some great passages of play on Saturday bringing the ball out of the defence and down to the gaolers. The mid courters always supporting both ends from the first whistle. Everyone worked hard to come out with a great result.

C GRADE
Last week our c graders came up against colbo knowing they needed a big win to regain finals contention. The girls didn't disappoint with great timing and strong leads across the court. Libby played great in her 50th, getting hands to many passes. A great second half, especially from d grader Cody, led to a well deserved win

D GRADE
The girls are continuing to improve each week. An excellent team effort for a full 4 quarters, and was great to see different combinations with some girls playing in some unfamiliar positions to their usual ones, but to the girls credit they kept working hard and it definitely paid off with the end result coming in our favour – Great game girls!

PRIMARY D
Congratulations to our players Kyra and Isabelle on competing in the Schoolaerobics State Finals on Saturday. Emily did a great job though against a tough opposition. Playing several different positions and working hard right to the end of the game. And Macca put into practise her timing of leads, to arrive close to the goal post when receiving the pass.
Incentives: Emily Griffiths – Fulton Hogan Drink Bottle
