Our Opponents
UNSW-ES have been one of our club’s traditional rivals, and they always seem to lift a gear in intensity when they play us. It hasn’t been a great year for them, with none of their teams currently in the top 5; but they will be desperate for a reversal in their fortunes. When the Bombers played them at Blacktown earlier in the season our teams won all three grades – but will need to be switched on and playing good football to repeat that this time round.
After the Game
A short presentation will be held in the clubhouse after the game. Senior coach Rohan Graham will address the presentation, and the best players for our teams will be named.
The presentation should be finished before 5:30, leaving enough time for anyone to head off to the Swans v Collingwood game or to go home and get changed for our evening entertainment.
Our Evening Entertainment
We know already of the talent and dedication of our players on the field, but how do they stack up on the stage?
The North Shore Player Revue sees our stars swap the jumpers and boots for a never to be forgotten theatrical experience; as instead of entertaining us with kicks and marks they entertain us in song, dance and drama. A night of hilarious fun is ensured.
The revue will take place in the clubhouse at Gore Hill. Cost $10 for food and nibbles, drinks available at the bar.
Reminder – Red and Black Ball
If you haven’t yet RSVP’d to the Red and Black Ball, time is running out.
The event will be on Saturday 17th July, with a marquee put up on Gore Hill Oval for the occasion. The North Shore Team of the Decade will be named; with many of the champions from our 2001, 2004, 2005 and 2007 Premiership teams in attendance.
It is sure to be a big night of fun for our club; so if you haven’t yet RSVP’d, send us an email at northshorefc@yahoo.com.au or in person at the canteen on game day.
