ROZYNSKI NAMED IN QUEENSLAND COUNTRY SQUAD

Tradelink Western Magpies midfield hard nut James Rozynski has been named in a 30 player Queensland Country Squad following his solid performance for the Country Stockman against Cairns at Coorparoo on Saturday.

Rozynski was a key factor for the Stockmen in its 19.6.120 to 10.10.70 win over Cairns on the wing which is the first time the Stockmen have beaten Cairns in the biannuall representative selection match for the Queensland Country Team.

The 30 man squad will be reduced to 25 over the next 4 - 6 weeks and will compete at the Australian Country Championships in Canberra on the weekend of July 24. Queensland will compete in division 1 of the competition for the first time after winning the division 2 title two years ago.

Former Western Magpies Coach Paul Grentell is an assistant coach of the Queensland Country Team.
