The Tweed Coast Tigers have continued on their winning way with another big win over Nimbin on the weekend.
Rd 8 should of been a home game for the Tigers, however in the interest of supportinng the Nimbin football club it was agreed to move the game to Nimbin.
The Demons are still struggling for numbers and the game was played with 15 a side, with the quarters shortened to 15 minutes each.
With 11 of the Tigers starting players out it was a good opportunity for some of the younger Tigers squad to get a run.
Starring up front for the Tigers was Jacob with 7 goals and Bolty with 6. Just about everyone else managed at least one goal for the day.
Special mention for Timmy, Nathan and the fox Arty who finally managed to pop their goal kicking cheeries for this season.
This long weekend is a bye and the Tigers will rest up in preparation for Rd 9 which will be away to Ballina. Ballina are continuing to improve and after recent wins over Cooly and Byron, will proove a tough match on their huge home field.
