Ethan Bowditch-Wharton chalks up 150 junior games

Ainslie U16 Div 2's Round 5 game saw a rare milestone achieved for a junior footballer. Ethan Bowditch-Wharton played his 150th game for the club. Ethan started playing for Ainslie in 2000 in the Under 8s competition - he played two seasons in U8s followed by two seasons in U9s - and Ethan has played for Ainslie every year since 2000.

Ethan is not only highly regarded for his reliable and consistent football skills but he is a great team player who always brings a positive presence to the team. On Saturday, Ethan started in the backline and contibuted to holding the opposition to 2 goals over three quarters. Moving into the forward line for the last quarter, Ethan bagged himself a goal before being chaired from the ground. A great player and a great team-mate - well done Ethan.
