Australian Country Football Championships

A 45 man squad has been named for the Australian Country Football Championships to be held in Canberra from 22 July to 25 July 2010. Ainslie is represented by 10 players who have been named to train with the squad.

The 10 Ainslie players are: Michael Ghobrial, Marcus Crook, David Love, Rowan Andrews, Robert Shirley, Clint Mathis, John Holmes, Ben Hughes, Tim Inkster and Nick Paine.

This year the Carnival will draw teams from Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and the ACT. The ACT last won the Championships in 2008 when it was played in Shepparton, Victoria.

Some games will be played at Ainslie Oval..
