This week we host Oakleigh for the first time at senior level (happy to be corrected as I usually am!). We are currently fourth on the ladder and they are fifth so a great opportunity to put some breathing space between us. Both sides had wins over higher positioned opposition so it will be game on. We obviously want to continue our good form from last weekend.
This will be David Mason's 200th game for the club. David has been a great stalwart of the club, commencing his career in 1996 with the U/19s. Since then he has played in the 2002 Grand Final side that took us back to A Grade and was also a member of the 2006 A Grade Premiership side. Early in his career he was bettwe known as a forward/ruckman but has more recently become a reliable defender. A popular clubman, Mase and family are truly great Old Haileyburians. Congratulations David and enjoy the day.
The Reserves will be looking to atone after a disappointing effort last weekend and they are bound to show some venom.
The U/19s haven't bagged the four points yet this year but this weekend could be their chance as they take on arch rivals Ormond.
The school side take on Caulfield on Saturday at Keysborough.
