VENUE CHANGE FOR R8 LIONS GAME

The AFL yesterday instructed the Brisbane Lions to shift all remaining GABBA curtain raisers for the remainder of 2010 after visiting AFL clubs and the Lions themselves complained about the hardness of the GABBA. All Curtain Raisers will be shifted to allow ground staff to soften up the ground for AFL matches.

Therefore this weeks match between the Tradelink Western Magpies and the Brisbane Lions will be held at Coorparoo at 2.45pm and the Magpies Reserves will play at Chelmer v Southport at 10.15am.
