As previously mentioned, Dale Thomas made a guest appearance at our auction night (thanks to Frank Barbaro for arranging this) which certainly lifted the tone of the night and in particular his interview with Anthony Eames was very good indeed. The interview gave all present an insight into a very nice young man.
The auction went well and was conducted by our own "Golden Tonsils" Anthony Eames. There were several excellent items up for grabs at the auction such as a 42" television (donated by the Good Guys), a signed Shane Warne cricket ball (donated by Frank Barbaro) Digital Camera, a signed Western Bulldogs jumper, Medallion Tickets to (3) games, a package of 4 players who will perform house duties at Chris Howards house (Chris won the auction), along with several silent auctions.
Financially the night was a success and the venue was good as was the finger food and although the DJ was a bit off the mark with the music, everyone had a great night.
Thanks to the organising committe for arranging the function and a special thanks to Anthony Eames who did a fantastic job on the night.
Regard, Barrie.
