A Grade: With a large crowd about for Sponsor's Day and
the weather perfect, the Seniors faced an in form Mt Burr. Our first
half was again great, following on from the week before, with some good pressure
applied. Our skills and voice was excellent and we were able to finish off the
hard work with some good goals. The second half was not to be the same as the
first and with a few sore bodies and some tired legs, we let Mt Burr run
away to record an easy win. We have played some great football in the last
two weeks taking it up to the top sides and showing that we can match it with
them we just need to work on having a consistent four quarters. This week we
take on Robe and need to get the win, which we will do if we back ourselves and
run the game right out. Best players were T Saunders, D Fabris, M Faulkner, M
Bowman, S Beggs and J Sandland.
B GRADE: With our sponsors looking on we took to the field confident
of a bold showing. We were hoping to give the mozzies a good test but we were
caught flat footed and had to chase them on the score board all day and run out
of time in the end. With very few positives to come out of the match we now look
forward to redeeming ourselves against the roosters.
SENIOR COLTS: After a promising second half against Kalangadoo the
senior colts were optimistic a win was a possibility against Mt Burr.
Unfortunately it took a half a game to get warmed up again and we suffered yet
another loss. To the Mossies credit they worked as a team and played well
together. As usual Cameron Slape, Sam Telfer & Tom Schulz battled hard all
day. Kieren Agnew returned to form and Aden Bell put in another solid
performance. Sam ‘Fish’ Waring made the most of limited opportunities up
forward. The ‘Smithy’ was won by Cameron Slape who was a standout on the ball,
the award winners were Cameron Slape (Seebohms) , Aden Bell (KAOS), Kieren Agnew
(John Cav's) , Brodie Davis (HFC Ladies Committee) and Mason Bunt (Hath
SP&REC Steak).
JUNIOR COLTS: Final Score Hath 16.7
(103) def Mt Burr 0.0 (0) Award winners were Thomas Chant (Ducky's), Rory
Whittaker (Pete Walters), Brett Watson (Gary Nilsson), Brad Wight (HFC Ladies
Committee) and Ben Leopold (Hath SP&REC Steak).

and David Green.
100's club winners was Luke Haines and the stubbies
jackpots as Paul Hamilton not present. Phil's Wheel winner last week was Tim
Leopold $32.
