Fair to say that pre season Joel had thoughts of colours other than blue and white, but common sense prevailed and he has not looked back since. Wilko, a student at Griffith with ambitions in medicine, has put in some great performances for the seniors playing off the half back line, and with his license to run and natural tendency to take on the game, is always prominent. He is in good company in the Scorpions with GCFC representatives and other QAFL players with senior experience.
Jackson Rolfe will also pack his boots. Jacko has been close to senior selection with consistent perfomances in the Magoos. Keeps his feet well and covers a lot of ground in the engine room.
Josh is a reasonably sized unit for this age group - at 2000mm and 93 kg displays good mobility and just may make a ruckman.
Luke has progressed through Broadie under age teams, GC17 and is now a regular with the VFL GCFC side. A courageous player who knows where the goals are located, and can get in and under or run off the contest to score.
