It was a disappointing weekend of football with all sides being beaten. The Seniors went down to a good Old Carey side.
We were probably lucky to be only down a couple of goals at quarter time but then we turned it on in the second quarter, kicking five goals against the oppositionzero for the quarter.
But from half time it appeared to be one way traffic with the visitors getting the upper hand. They kicked four goals inas many minutes to ensure scores were locked at three quarter time. The defence was under siege as Carey appeared to be getting mostof the ball, despite the efforts of Spencer Roberts and Tony Brown.
Chis took one of the finest marks seen at McKinnon for some time in the third quarterto certainly gain the Mark of the Day award.
Ultimately we were to go down by 31 points after kicking only two goals in the second half.
A more detailed report from the "Oracle of the Outer" is attached.

An undermanned seconds side came back to earth after the previous week's triumph, going down to a pretty impressive Carey side. David Mason
continued his fine form in front of goal with a five goal haul. Team leaders Pitch and Ruley were the better players.

The U/19s came up against a very impressive St Kevins unit and were up against it after losing a couple of players early to injury. Jack Steen and
Kingy battled manfully but the side were up against it. They battled it out but were no match for St Kevins.

Congratulations are extended to Brett Voss, Laz Siapantis and Hamish McLachlan who all made the VAFA Representative squad. Chris Morrison was
selected for the U/23 squad while Ben White was chosen in the U/19s. Congratulations to all players. These are personal milestones that they can all be
very proud of.
LADY'S LUNCHEON
The Lady's Luncheon will be taking place on the 26th of June and is shaping up as another great occasion. We will have guest speakers, giveaways and
a bit of pampering for the ladies of the club. Let me know if you would like to attend. Further details will be available shortly but a reminder that this is
a catered event so an RSVP would be greatly appreciated.
Next weekend we travel to Old Ivanhoe and Old Brighton in what can be classified as crunch games. The ones are all square after six rounds in a very even
Premier B divison. There are a number of clubs locked on three wins and all keen to take that next step. Bring it on.
