This Sunday all three grades travel to Henson Park to take on Wests.

The Venue
Henson Park is located at Sydenham Rd, Marrickville. People who have been at the club for a couple of years or more will know the venue well, until Blacktown was built it hosted the Sydney AFL finals and other blockbuster games.
Note to all players and supporters – the Half Marathon will be taking place in the city that day. With associated road closures, it would be best to avoid the northern part of the CBD.
To get there, cross the Harbour Bridge. Take the Western Distributor across Anzac Bridge, then turn left at the Annandale turnoff and continue to Sydney Uni. Turn left at Broadway, then turn right onto City Rd before Sydney Uni, which becomes King St. Turn right at Enmore Rd. Continue straight ahead past the Stanmore Rd turnoff and past the Marrickville Metro signs. Sydenham Rd is the 5th set of lights after the Stanmore Rd turnoff. At Sydenham Rd, Henson Park is about 500m on the right; the lights are clearly visible. Car parking is available for $2 inside the ground, or if you’re stretched for cash there’s plenty of on-street parking nearby.
If you’re going by public transport, get the train to Marrickville. Head north up Illawarra Rd and turn left at Sydenham Rd.
An admission charge for spectators of $5 for adults, $2 concession and $2 for car parking is charged, so don’t forget to visit the ATM on the way to the ground if your wallet’s short of cash.

Our Opponents
This will be a contest that will tell a lot about how good our team is this year. North Shore are now top of the table, the only undefeated team, but Wests are one of a group of teams who have only dropped one game so far. The Magpies won their first four games before going down narrowly to East Coast last week.
