The WRFL in conjunction with Football Victoria will be presenting the "AFL Kids First Program" and "Bouncing Racism Out Of Sports" Info sessions this week as listed below. This is a requirement of all football clubs prior to the start of the 2005 season. The WRFL wants all children/parents playing this season to attend these sessions. The PCFC Committee would like at least one parent of every player to attend. If there are friends or relatives who regularly watch your children play, ask them to come along as well.
Parents will attend the first session in the school hall starting at 5:30pm to watch a video whilst the players are still training. After training the players will then have their own session watching the video during which the parents move into the library for the 2nd part of the info session. The parent's session should take approx. 1 hour in total to complete which should hopefully coincide with the player's session ending. If the children's session finishes earlier then the parents, their will be adults from the club to supervise the children inside the basketball arena.
Both sessions will be held inside the Boardwalk School Hall (Basketball Arena) and Library. The parents attend both "AFL Kids First Program" and "Bouncing Racism Out Of Sports" whilst the children will only attend the "Bouncing Racism Out Of Sports".
The Under 12's, 14's & 16's session will be conducted on Tuesday, 19th of April at 5:30pm.
The Under 9's, 10's & 11's session will be conducted on Wednesday, 20th of April at 5:30pm.
