The Rams travelled to Camden, confident of chalking up another win in both grades. Unfortunately, it was not to be.
With four points in it at half time in Senior Grade, a tight second half looked likely. In fact, it was the exact opposite, with Penrith folding meekly to concede 13 goals from that point on.
The final result - a 59 point loss - was a major disappointment to a side desperately seeking a win.
Final scores: Camden 19.11 (125) d Penrith 9.12 (66)
Reserve Grade lost the game in the opening term, a 20 point deficit at quarter time proving to be vital. It was a lead maintained by Camden for the remainder of the game, despite the Rams` best efforts.
Final scores: Camden 10.13 (73) d Penrith 7.11 (53)
Overall, it was a very disappointing road trip for the Rams, who would have been hoping to return with two wins - not the opposite.
