Trompfy is steeped in Noosa tradition with his dad Ashley coaching the club and his uncle (Grumpy) coaching the Tiges to their last flag in 1997. The Big Man himself started with the Tigers in the Auskick program and remembers being in the under 9's as a 5 year old with Garry Wallace and Jarryd Bates who both would have been 8 or 9. He played in the under 10's with Zac Smith and Sam Jefferys in the under 12's.
Whether he's in the ruck, at half back or lurking down forward, Trompfy always keeps the opposition guessing and looking and he has been a cornerstone of recent success at Noosa.
A stint in 2007 when Peter moved to Warnambool and a stint in Darwin have added to his footy and life experience whilst probably preventing him from already reached a century of matches at Noosa.
The 2010 & 2011 Premiership and celebrations are probably the highlight of his time with his mates at Noosa but Pete just loves life and the boys regardless
2012 has been stopped short with injury but as usual we are sure that Pete will bounce back as soon as he can
