The day will commence at 10:00 AM with six matches to be held with all of the major feeder junior clubs, St Clair Crows, Blue Mountains Kangaroos, Penrith Swans and Emu Plains/Glenmore Park Lions playing three games each being 2 x 10 minute halves each. The leading two teams will then play a final (2 x 10 mins). It is expected that the games will finish by 1:30 and a presentation will be held at the conclusion.
But it is not only football to be played on the day. Between 10 AM and 4 PM there will be many activities for all the family. Free activities include a jumping castle, face painting, tattoos, a junior football clinic open to all where your club will be promoted, the "Icebreak Ute" will be handing out free samples and other activities still to be formalised. All players will receive a showbag with samples from the Penrith Rams major sponsor, IGA along with a complimentary sausage sandwich and drink. A canteen/BBQ will also operate on the day
At 2:00 PM a "Masters" match will be played by the young (and not so young) over 30's.
It promises to be a good few hours out and a sincere thanks for all of our junior clubs for their participation on the day.
A schedule of the draw and events is attached on a separate message, also headed IGA Penrith Rams Under 16's tournament/family day.
