AFL Sydney is looking for a suitable person(s) to fill the position of Matchday Liaison Officer.
This position would suit a person who enjoys community AFL football, has good communication skills and enjoys working with club personnel.
The successful applicant would need to be able to work on either Saturday or Sunday as allocated from the AFL Sydney draw during the football season.
Duties of this position include:
- Being at the ground at least 90 minutes prior to the commencement of the first match until the clubs leave at the end of the day;
- Ensure the necessary facilities are opened prior to the clubs arriving;
- Greet the Club Ground Manager and advise the host of their requirements in relation to the venue;
- Monitor the venue during the day to ensure all requirements are being met;
- Handle any queries the clubs have in relation to the venue;
- At the end of the day ensure the host club has left the venue in a suitable condition;
- Provide a report to Senior Football Operations Manager
The necessary training to complete this role will be provided to the successful applicant prior to them commencing.
The suitable allowance will be paid to the successful applicant.
