James Brain has a strong football pedigree in a strong part of the football world.
With dad Greg coaching around the Murray and Riverina areas, James has pulled on the boots at Finley, The Rock/Yurong Creek, Albury Tigers, North Albury, NSW U16's, Ovens & Murray Senior Rep Side and the VCFL U19's.
After playing mainly at Finley in his junior years - gaining recognition by the New South Wales Under 16 selectors amongst other highlights - it has been over the last three seasons that he has matured into a strong and respected player in a great country comp in the O&M.
In fact James played his first Senior match in the O&M at only 16 years of age with Albury in 2007 which says a bit and after 2 more seasons at North Albury, he is very keen to change his 'no senior finals' record here at Noosa. To make the Ovens & Murray Rep Team this year at only 19 is also a testament to his ability and performances.
Our new 6ft (184 cm) midfielder has answered the dual calls of lifestyle and family and will join mum, dad and family here so we can be hopeful that James pulls on the Noosa jumper for many years to come.
A trades assistant down South with an electrical company, James will join the Laguna on Hastings Street and will be starting in the very near future.
