The Macquarie University Warriors are pleased to announce the appointment of Peter "Busta" Hyndman to the position of Reserve Grade Coach for the up coming 2010 season.
Busta has been at the club for a number of years now and is highly regarded by the players, coaching staff, supporters and volunteers at the club.
Even better news is that we will not be losing his playing talents as he will be a player coach in 2010.
Busta was instrumental in driving the Reserve Grade team into the past two seasons finals series and is arguably one of the best key position players in the Division 3 Sydney AFL Competition.
First Grade Coach Daniel Kenny said of his appointment "All the coaches are looking forward to working with Busta as he has a smart footy brain and I'm sure he will practice what he preaches out on the ground. Plus he loves a beer which was evident at last years Grand Final Day. In addition he continues the club coaching philosophy of appointing young and energetic coaches with good player management and communication skills"
The good news keeps on coming with Dave "Frosty" Frostick agreeing to continue on as Reserve Grade Assistant Coach with his role now having considerably more depth with Busta playing out on the ground. Frosty will be looking after rotations, positional changes and opposition analysis. Frosty was also First Grade runner in 2009 and has in depth knowledge of both the First Grade and Reserve Grade playing talents.
Once again congratulations to Busta and Frosty on their appointments and we now look forward to a successful Reserve Grade Season which will commence with our Intraclub Club Trial on Sunday March 7th.
