There are a number of events that clubs and their members can be involved with as outlined below.
February 10
Junior Club Bring a Friend Event/Club 5:00pm – 7:00pm
- In conjunction with other junior AFL clubs, Jamison Park has been booked for the "Club Bring a Friend" promotion.
- Geelong players will arrive at approx 5:00pm, Jamison Park Penrith (near the amenities block)
- Players will be available at the events to talk to players and parents as well as sign autographs.
- Further information including a run sheet will be provided to your club in the next few days.
- Clubs should use this event to mobilise your existing players to bring some more mates along to play with your club for the 2010 season.
February 11
Player School Visits
- Geelong players will be visiting 2 of each junior club’s feeder schools between 11:30am – 3:00pm.
- Clubs will be promoted at these visits.
Footy Forum
- Held at the Holroyd Centre, Merrylands commencing at 6:00pm.
- A great evening for coaches and players from your club to hear the presentations from Geelong personnel as well as ask your questions to improve their AFL knowledge.
- 2 sessions will be held by
- Coaching staff
- A group of senior players
- Please pass this information on to your coaches and players as all are invited to what will be a fantastic evening and a great opportunity to learn from the reigning AFL premiers.
February 12
Intra Club Match
- Held at Gipps Road Park commencing at 11:00am
- Open to spectators as well as involving local players from AFL Sydney
- Local primary schools games will be held prior to the match.
