1970 Grand Final

9-3, 3-1, 8-1, 3-4 23-9
Wunghnu:
1-4, 9-6, 3-1, 4-1 17-12
Yarroweyah's second pennant was possibly the best game Yarroweyah has played in, and possibly the best the League has had. It came after three grand final defeats in previous years.
It was a high scoring game in which Yarroweyah started with a fantastic burst of 9-2 to 1-4 to seemingly sew up the game. But Wunghnu fought back to be only a goal down at half time. Yarroweyah applied great pressure in the second half when Wunghnu wilted and Yarroweyah ran out winners by 33 points.
