Curra Swans players hit the training track this week in
preparation for an assault on the 2010 AFL Townsville premiership.
Under the watchful eye of new coach Darren Gwynne, Swans
players sweated it out in the December heat.
The new coach let it be known from the start that he
intended to change some things out at Muldoon Oval.
Gwynne told his charges he intends to finish season 2010 in
the top two in order to have a serious crack at winning the flag. In order to
achieve that all players will have to be fit and be prepared to commit to the
cause.
To that end training began in December instead of the usual
second week in January proving the new coach a man of his word.
