Three Dandenong Stingrays players, Ricky Ferraro, Matthew Clark and Aaron Purves all finished in the top 10 place-getters in the TAC Cup Best and Fairest award, the Morrish Medal.
Inspirational captain and gun mid fielder Ricky Ferraro polled 12 votes in 5 games including best on grounds against the Calder Cannons twice and the Sandringham Dragons and finished tied for 6th.
Key Forward Aaron Purves finished tied for 8th in the medal, picked up 11 votes including best on grounds against the Geelong Falcons, Northern Knights and Bendigo Pioneers and polled in 5 games.
Mid fielder Matt Clark also picked up 11 votes to tie for 8th which was a fantastic effort considering Clark missed a heap of games mid season with an injured knee and Vic Metro commitments. Clark was best on ground against the Sandringham Dragons and picked up 2 votes in another 4 games.
