Pennant Hills AFC & Macquarie University AFC would like to announce the forming of a strategic alliance for season 2010 in the Under 18's Premier & Challenge Cups. Both clubs wish to provide junior footballers from feeder clubs North Ryde, Westbrook, Pennant Hills, Hornsby and the Central Coast with a pathway to play Under 18's football in Sydney.
Pennant Hills will be fielding an Under 18 Premier Cup Team in 2010 whilst Macquarie University will continue to field a Challenge Cup side. The two sides will be selected from a pool of players from the feeder clubs within our regional Pathway. Combined pre season training sessions will be held and interclub trail matches held in March 2010.
The aim of the pathway is to ensure all eligible players from the feeder clubs can play a game of Under 18 football at either club. Both clubs will be working closely with the Sydney AFL on this fantastic initiative.
Both clubs are extremely excited about the new strategic alliance with further details to be announced in the near future.
