1st Practice Match VS Panton Hill

On Sunday the 6th of Match, the mighty Lakers took on old rivals Panton Hill. This was the first game of the year for 2011 and the first game for new coaches Ian and Keith Carey. It was a nice and spectacular day to take on the Panton Hil. The Lakers had two very different playing compaired to last year, the teams were mixed with old, new and young faces. Both teams performed very well and showed good skills and fitness against the Rebbacks. Panton Hill put up a good fight in both games but the Lakers were just to good in the end. So the Lakers retain the "KING OF THE MOUNTAIN CUP" once again.

Preseason

Preseason is were it begins. The boys have been on the training track for a couple of weeks now and here some picture from one night at training.

Presentation Ball

On the 18th of Sepemter at the Lilydale International, the Kinglake Footbal Netball Club held there presentations for season 2010 and the ball. It was a great, with a great turn out. Here is some of the pictures from the night, taken by Nicky Styles

Kinglake took on Yarra Junction on in the Preliminary final, it just wasn't Kinglakes day.

FINALS vs Alexandra @ Yarra Junction (unders)

In the first time in 15 years the Kinglake under 18s make it to the finals and they come home with a great win other Alezandra.

Round 18 2010 vs Yea (bennys 300th game)

The Lakers played Yea at home in some very windy weather, which made playing footy a challenge. Benny Collins played his 300 game and the boys had a good win.

It was a long travel to Alexandra and it just wasn't the day for the lakers, we only come home with the one win (under 18s). These pictures are the action from the netball and the seniors and seconds games.

Reverse Draw

This years reverse draw was a huge day with lots of prizes to win. First prize was a $10,000 holiday package of your choice, second prize was a Yamaha TTR 230 and Third prize was a Samsung Home Theatre Pack. The draw also had a visit from Wayne Carey (Former AFL superstar)!!

Unders vs Reserves

The Reserves were going to vs Thornton Elidon Reserves but they didn't rock up with a team so the unders stepped up to play the reserves in a muck around game, which was a lot of fun to play and watch!!
