Team WA 10.18 (78) def NSWACT 2.1 (13)
Game two opened with a slick WA team scoring their first goal within a minute of the bouncedown.
Kicking with a howling four-goal sea breeze they piled on another three goals and peppered away before NSWACT composed themselves.
The second quarter was interrupted by an injury and when the teams resumed play, NSWACT were inspired. Kahli Abbott in particular was lively for NSWACT in the forward line and helped her team score 2 quick goals to put them within 11 points of WA.
After half time the forward strength of Team WA proved too much for the gallant Easterners with Sabrina Frederick being a handful. Her strong overhead marking and ability to command front spot in a contest was instrumental in WA having a strong third quarter on the scoreboard with 12 scoring shots to nil. Frederick booted five goals for the game.
The fourth quarter proved a one way affair despite NSWACT having the breeze the defence of the Black Ducks was stingey and denied the opposition access to their 50. WA kicked 3 goals 4 against the breeze sealing a convincing victory.
