COMMITTEE UPDATE

The Bayside FA Committee is looking forward to the start of another season and is finalising most of its off-season work. We will be providing you with all the information you require within the next few weeks. In the meantime, we have some important information and reminders for you all. 

Team entry

Team entry deadline is Friday 4 March 2016. All team entries need to be entered via our new online team registration process, please allow 48 hours to get this complete. All club delegates should have received an email explaining the process. We aim to have fixtures for the entire season completed by Sunday 27 March 2016.

Please let us know your preferred home kick off times and any special requests (i.e. all teams to be played at home), otherwise the system will automatically designate time slots and fixtures.  We willendeavour to meet your requests however we may not be able to meet every request.

Reserves League will NOT be reintroduced.

Charity Day

Charity Day is scheduled for Sunday 3 April 2016. If you would like to host please contact the committee prior to the next delegates meeting.

Venue will be confirmed at the next delegates meeting.

Fixtures

Season will start on Sunday 10 April 2016. At this stage we are trying not to have fixtures on Mother’s Day, Father’s day and Queens Birthday long weekend. There will be fixtures scheduled for the ANZAC Day long weekend.

Player registrations

All player registrations are to be done online via our website this year. This will be ready in the next week or two. Passports and team sheets are still to be used on match days. All 2015 passports in colour and on card will be valid for the 2016 season, so don’t throw them out. New team sheet books have arrived and will be handed out to delegates. All players will need to upload a passport type photo when registering online.

Team delegates and referees ideas days

The BFA Committee would like to thank all the attendees of the club ideas day and the referee’s day that were held in the last month or so. Both days were very successful and beneficial for the current an future running of the league.

Next meeting

Next Club Delegates meeting is on Monday 7 March 2016, 8 PM start, at Mornington Soccer Club (Dallas Brooks Park, Mornington Tyabb Road, Mornington). Speak to your club delegate prior to the meeting if there is something you would like brought up at the meeting.
