Futsalroo Coach Visits Sunshine Coast
Sunshine Coast Futsal Association hosted a futsal information seminar with guest instructor Futsalroos Coach Rob Varela.
Approximately twenty FFA Accredited Futsal Coaches attended the one day seminar along with representative players from the 14/15's and Open Men's age divisions who were given the opportunity to see what elite training was all about at the highest level.
On the day Rob instructed training activities covering the following objectives,
- Possession (reading the play & keeping possession under pressure)
- Attacking Movements (Using the Pivot, working between the lines and isolating the opposite flank)
- Defensive Reorganisation (2-1-1 Switching Defence)
- Transition
- Video Analysis
Sunshine Coast Futsal Association would like to thank Rob for giving up his time to attend and host our futsal seminar.
