Brisbane City have boosted their striking ranks with the club confirming the returns of NPL Queensland 2013 Golden Boot winner Antonio Murray and forward Daniel Clark.

Murray was a stand-out for last year’s Grand Finalists, netting 27 goals in 21 games, however missed the end of season decider against Olympic FC with injury.

His NPL Queensland form brought him to the attention of Brisbane Roar, where he became a regular fixture through an extended pre-season trial that saw the 29 year old just miss out on an A-League contract before returning to England.

Clark was part of City’s pre-season before accepting an offer at Swedish club MD FF Koping. He is awaiting his clearance before being able to take to the field for City in their next match against Brisbane Roar NYL Friday week.

The pair will bolster a City squad that has been recently seen the departures of NPL Queensland 2013 Young Player of the Year Ken Dougall to Dutch club Almer City as well Jeremy Lynch, who is on trial in Holland and Ireland.

City are currently on a five match unbeaten run in the league and sit fourth in the league standings.
