City Secure Entertaining 3-2 Win

Gold Coast City have defeated Western Pride 3-2 at Briggs Road Sporting Complex on Saturday evening, as both teams wrapped up their 2017 campaigns. 

Although conceeding early to an in-form Lani McKenna, City hit back throuh an Ena Tsuzumi strike to level the match before half-time.

City suffered no fatigue following resumption, scoring two quick goals that presented them a handy 3-1 lead. 

Mackenzie Mcavoy gave Pride some solace with a goal in injury time, but the team was unable to score an equaliser and secure the draw.

90+1’ - GOAL FOR PRIDE - A ball is left untouched in the goal area as Mackenzie Mcavoy kicks it home.
