Eastern Suburbs Women produced an incredible late comeback to earn a 3-3 draw against Brisbane Olympic Women at Goodwin Park on Sunday evening.

Trailing 3-1 with fewer than 15 minutes remaining, the visitors scored twice through Eloise Wadsworth and Jessica Gibson to snatch an invaluable point on the road.

Easts led early thanks to Harkana Dixon but Leah Miles ensured the joy was short-lived with an eighth-minute equaliser.

Olympic, seeking their third win of the season, took control with a pair of Teani Karalouka goals either side of half-time and were on course for an upset victory until Easts struck twice in the closing stages.

Last season’s Grand Finalists will instead look to shock another top four team when they visit Peninsula Power Women on Wednesday night, while Easts make the trip to Toowoomba on Saturday.
