Brisbane Strikers will be back in the national spotlight on Wednesday, 24 August as their hosting of Melbourne City in the Westfield FFA Cup Round of 16 is broadcast LIVE by Fox Sports.

Football Federation Australia confirmed fixture details on Friday including dates, venues and kick-off times.

Perry Park could be the scene of Tim Cahill’s Melbourne City debut after the Caltex Socceroos superstar signed for the Hyundai A-League powerhouse this week.

The occasion will be the second time Strikers have featured in one of the competition’s broadcast feature matches after starring on opening night in 2014, the competition’s inaugural year.

Giant-killers Redlands United will be in action on the same night as they vie for a spot in the last eight away to Canberra Olympic.

With their trip to Deakin Stadium to be streamed live online, the Red Devils will have to overcome increased attention after coming to national prominence in their stunning Round of 32 upset of Hyundai A-League champions Adelaide United.

Queensland’s two remaining representatives will both kick-off at 7:30PM AEST.

As well as broadcasting one match live and exclusive in full on each match day, FOX SPORTS will also provide updates and crosses of the other matches.

The non broadcast matches will also be streamed LIVE at www.foxsports.com.au/football/ffa-cup/ffacupondemand and Apple TV.

Ticketing information for each of the Westfield FFA Cup 2016 Round of 32 matches will be released soon by each home club. Please visit www.theffacup.com.au for further details.
