Former Sunshine Coast FC captain and new Moreton Bay United recruit Reyze Kelly says he is looking forward to challenging for silverware with his new club in 2016.

The midfielder is the fifteenth signing confirmed by Jets as the seek to defend last season’s PlayStation® 4 NPL Queensland Premiership and Championship title.

Jets will become Kelly’s third club in PlayStation 4 NPL Queensland after spending the past two seasons with Fire after debuting in the competition with Northern Fury.

Despite being just 23 years of age, Kelly boasts 66 PlayStation 4 NPL Queensland appearances – the third highest in the history of the competition – and netted fifteen goals over the past three seasons.

He said the drive to win was the deciding factor in his latest change of clubs.

“I want to win a title at the end of the day - you play to win and that’s what I’m about.” Kelly explained.

“Fire was a fantastic club but at 23 I think it’s time for me to win some titles and I think Jets will get me that step closer to that.”

He added he is hopeful Jets can push for a maiden Westfield FFA Cup Round of 32 place in 2016 after he twice missing out with Fire in the knock-out competition in recent seasons.

“As much as I want to win the NPL title with Moreton Bay, at the same time playing at the highest level on the national stage in the FFA Cup is something I am definitely looking forward to achieving as well,” he said.

Kelly is the third player recruited to the Jets from Fire during the off-season – joining Jacob Fulluck and Ray Schultz - and he said he is looking forward of furthering their combinations in a new setting next season.

“Us three have spent a season together and know how each other plays but we will now be adapting to the way Moreton Bay play,” Kelly concluded.
