Soccer World Support U23 All-Stars

Soccer World, an institution of Brisbane-based football supporters, has been unveiled as the inaugural front of shirt sponsor for the PlayStation® 4 NPL Queensland U23 All-Stars.
The 17-player squad will line-up in their freshly-pressed kits in a showpiece friendly against John Aloisi’s Brisbane Roar this Saturday at QSAC.
The match is part of a bumper double header with Moreton Bay United’s PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues Elimination Final against Edgeworth Eagles.
Soccer World owner Sid Camiolo (pictured with Football Queensland Chief Operating Officer Graham Lee) said supporting the initiative is a natural extension of his passion for the sport.
“I’m football mad. Anything I can do to help grow the game in Queensland and Australia, that’s my main aim,” Camiolo said.
“I’m proud it’s on there and I’m happy Football Queensland gave me the opportunity to get involved.”
The squad for the PlayStation 4 NPL Queensland U23 All-Stars squad was unveiled on Monday following a three-week voting period for fans at the league's official website.
Eight clubs are represented in a final selection which features 11 teenagers such as Western Pride captain Jesse Rigby (pictured).
Camiolo pointed to assisting youth development as a key motivator for Soccer World’s involvement.
“We need to push the young guys through,” he said, "It’s great to help give them more opportunities.”
Soccer World is Queensland's premier soccer specialty store with outlets at Stafford and Upper Mt Gravatt and stocks a wide range of boots, balls, playing kits and replica kits of the world's major club teams.
