Gabe Marzano fired The Gap Women into the Grand Final as the Premiers edged Palm Beach SC Women 2-0 at Walton Bridge Reserve on Sunday.

The Westfield W-League winner netted either side of half-time to decide the Qualifying Semi-Final and seal the hosts’ progression to a home decider.

Sunshine Coast FC Women 4 (Sofie PERSSON 16’, 55’, 90’+1 Brooke MATHESON 90’)

 

Sunshine Coast Women eliminated a second top-four team from the PlayStation® 4 NPL Queensland Women’s Finals Series by defeating UQFC Women 4-1 at University of Queensland Field 5 on Sunday.

 

Sofie Persson scored either side of the break before adding a third in stoppage time to help ensure a late UQFC comeback was only fleeting.

Eastern Suburbs FC Women 1 (Michaela HATZIRODOS 24’)
Peninsula Power FC Women 3 (Brieanna WATT 8’ Brittany WHITFIELD 22’, 85’)

Peninsula Power Women set the PlayStation® 4 NPL Queensland Women’s Finals Series alight with a 3-1 upset of Eastern Suburbs Women at Heath Park on Saturday night.

Brittany Whitfield scored twice to eliminate the regular season’s third-placed side and send Power to within two matches of the Grand Final.
