New Western Pride coach Graham Harvey has delivered a win in his first match in charge after seeing off Sunshine Coast FC 3-0 at Briggs Road Complex on Saturday.
Todd Norris struck the opening goal early in the first half before Harrison Sawyer struck twice in the second half to secure the win and keep alive their hopes of a top four finish.
Northern Fury FC 1 (Jacob CROWLEY 52’)
FNQ FC Heat 5 (Joshua PIN 14’, Cameron NUCIFORA 45’, Alex SMITH 56’, Shaun OWENS 75’, Jamie CARROLL 80’)
FNQ Heat have claimed derby bragging rights for another year after cruising to a 5-1 win over Northern Fury at Brolga Park on Saturday.
The visitors shared the spoils between five different goalscorers as Heat claimed the Frank Farina Cup.

Redlands United FC 6 (Lyndon DYKES 25’ 79’, Kai HALLIDAY 39’, Elliot RONTO 54’, Graham FYFE 58’p 85’p)
Redlands United strengthened their hold on fourth place with a 6-0 win over SWQ Thunder at Clive Berghofer Stadium on Sunday.
Lydon Dykes delivered a brace from open play while Graham Fyfe also struck twice from the penalty spot with further goals to Kai Halliday and Elliot Ronto rounding out the result for the Red Devils
Brisbane Strikers FC 1 (Jheison MACUACE 67’)

Brisbane Strikers moved at least momentarily top of the league with a 1-0 win over Olympic FC at Perry Park on Tuesday night.
The match, played ahead of schedule due to Strikers’ Westfield FFA Cup engagement away to Hume City, remained undecided until Jheison Macuace’s second-half strike moved the hosts a point clear Moreton Bay United.
