Palm Beach SC today unveiled a raft of new sponsors as the club continues to capitalise on its growing national profile in the Westfield FFA Cup and PlayStation® 4 NPL Queensland.

Sharks confirmed that Insurance QLD and DFA Financial Planners will both feature on the back of the club’s home and away strip for the remainder of the year, while Subway Palm Beach will take position on the sleeve.

The trio of sponsors are the first to appear on Sharks playing kit since the club joined PlayStation 4 NPL Queensland in the competition’s inaugural season in 2013.

Palm Beach General Manager Rob Morris said the sponsorship agreements was a reflection of the growing profile of the club in the second tier PlayStation 4 National Premier Leagues and consecutive qualifications for the Westfield FFA Cup Round of 32.

“The profile of the FFA Cup and National Premier Leagues have both been instrumental in securing these sponsorships for Palm Beach Soccer Club,” Morris explained.

“We thank Insurance QLD, DFA Financial Planners and Subway at Palm Beach for their support as we look to build on last season’s successes.”

“In the past 12 months the club has seen significant investments in terms of our playing fields and clubhouse infrastructure and we are hoping that continued support from commercial partners will further benefit our National Premier Leagues and community teams as Palm Beach Soccer Club continues to grow.”

Morris added that live coverage on Fox Sports of Sharks’ looming Westfield FFA Cup Round of 32 tie against Victorian powerhouse South Melbourne FC had also helped entice the corporate support.

“National television exposure is a major selling point and is much easier from a sponsor's point of view to see the value.”

“Also the fact that Palm Beach Senior Men won both the NPL Premiership and Grand Final last season gave the club great exposure and kudos both in Queensland and across the country.”

“We hope that our members and fans will take note of the support of all our valued sponsors and consider using their products and services should the need arise.”

The club also confirmed they intend to make a further major sponsorship announcement later this week.
