Fresh from inflicting a first defeat on league-leaders Moreton Bay United, Olympic FC cross the river on Saturday night to meet Brisbane Roar Youth.
Tim Smits starred in that 4-2 defeat of Jets with his second hattrick in as many weeks, finding the kind of ominous touch which will make the strong former Hyundai A-League striker a handful at Perry Park.
While Olympic are riding high with seven wins in eight, Young Roar have put together a four-match unbeaten run of their own.
Two straight draws, albeit away from home, have somewhat slowed that momentum and John Sime’s side will be keen to prove a point against competition contenders.
