Moreton Bay United coach Adam Piddick isn't reading too much into the PlayStation® 4 NPL Queensland table ahead of his side's clash against Palm Beach SC this Saturday.

The league-leading Jets are nine points ahead of the defending PlayStation 4 NPL Queensland Premiers-Champions, with both teams playing seven matches so far in 2015.

However, Sharks boast the best defensive record in the league - conceding eight goals to the Jets’ nine this season.

Piddick said he expected a tough match and suggested his side must take their chances after striking the crossbar four times in their last start win against Western Pride.

“Palm Beach are still a quality side. They have defensive stability and when things click up front for them, I can see them being in the top four at the end of the season,” he explained.

“This is a very, very important weekend for us. If we get chances we have to put them away. We will not get 15 like last week. It may only be three or four."

“I thought we played at a good level last week (against Pride). It wasn’t our day in the 18-yard box.’’

Adding further spice to the clash is sibling rivalry between Piddick and his older brother Grae Piddick, coach of Sharks.

The younger Piddick said, “There has been a bit of banter between us. Nothing too outrageous. We’re just concentrating on what we have to do.”

With midfielder Daniel Clark departing for PlayStation 4 NPL Victoria club Hume City this week, Piddick confirmed he plans to give squad players a chance to stake a claim for the starting side.

Joseph Champness, who scored and set up Thomas Mendy’s second goal on his debut last week, is expected to retain his place in the Jets' squad.
