Gabe Marzano struck a brace as The Gap Women continued their pre-season form with a 2-0 win over Olympic FC Women at Walton Bridge Reserve on Sunday.

Marzano, formerly with Perth Glory’s W-League side, scored either side of the half-time break to guide the Gators to their second win of the pre-season.

For Olympic the result was their third straight pre-season defeat ahead of next weekend’s opening round of the PlayStation® 4 NPL Queensland Senior Women’s season.

Olympic start their league campaign against Souths United next Sunday at Wakerley Park, while The Gap will face Sunshine Coast FC at Kawana Soccer Club later the same day.
