Easts Put Bite On Pride In Friendly

Eastern Suburbs Women delivered an ominous warning for the season ahead with a 6-1 pre-season win over Western Pride Women at Briggs Road Complex on Saturday.

Tegan Riding opened the scoring for Easts on her way to a hat-trick before Pride player-coach Lorena Maggio levelled terms prior to the half hour.

From there on it was all one-way traffic for Easts as Natalie Mueller added to Riding’s second for a 3-1 half-time advantage.

Riding rounded our her haul with ten minutes remaining while substitute Sachiko Tatsuoka also chipped in with a second half brace.

Easts continue their PlayStation® 4 NPL Queensland 2015 preparations next week against UQFC in another friendly before facing Palm Beach SC in the opening round of the season on Saturday week.

Pride are scheduled to face Peninsula Power the following day in their opening match of the PlayStation 4 NPL Queensland Senior Women’s season.
