Olympic Juniors Star In Asian Cup Ad

Four Olympic FC juniors share the spotlight in the latest promotional campaign for the 2015 AFC Asian Cup to be hosted in Australia.
Taro Hiranuma, Blake Vuksan, Billy Pavlou and Oliver Dearn feature in the advertisement showcasing the skills they have developed via PlayStation 4 NPL Queensland over the past two seasons.
The video is a production of Tourism Australia and is aimed at international markets including Japan, Korea Republic and China, and features the tag line “The Beautiful Game Is About To Get More Beautiful”.
The advertisement was filmed in September at the Gold Coast and features the four up-and-comers in national team shirts, including Australia’s own Socceroos.
Speaking to Fox Sports News during the filming, Pavlou said, “It’s been great. All the kids have enjoyed it and it’s been a great experience.”
Pavlou added that he was confident the Socceroos can win the tournament, starting in January.
“I reckon Australia will win. They are the host nation but teams like South Korea and Japan will provide stiff competition,” Pavlou said.
Queensland will host seven AFC Asian Cup games at Brisbane Stadium, including the blockbuster Group A match-up between the Socceroos and Korea Republic, as well as a Quarter Final fixture.
