Eastern Suburbs Women scored four first-half goals to set up a comfortable 7-2 win over SWQ Thunder Women at Clive Berghofer Stadium on Saturday.

Thunder attacker Louise Rolfe netted twice but it mattered little as a potent Easts scored regularly to cement fourth spot.

The hosts responded quickly to Easts’ early opener and held them level until the half hour, but three goals in 15 minutes put the finals contenders well into the ascendency by half-time.

Three more after the restart wrapped up Easts’ second win in five matches and means Thunder are eight points adrift in sixth.
