Brisbane Olympic Women overcame the disappointment of last week’s home draw to snatch a come-from-behind 2-1 win over Western Pride Women on Saturday.

Denied victory at the death by Eastern Suburbs Women last Sunday, Olympic turned the tables at Goodwin Park with two goals in the final 15 minutes seeing off a plucky Pride.

Lani McKenna handed the winless visitors a surprise lead late in the first-half, only for Elizabeth Doherty to quickly pull Olympic level.

Zoe Lambi then completed the quickfire turnaround to seal the home side’s third win six matches.

Olympic’s next assignment is away to UQFC Women in Round 13, while Pride’s search for a first point will continue on the road at Easts.
